Marika Hackman - We Slept at Last
/Marika Hackman's hauntingly beautiful debut album "We Slept at Last" is an album I've been wanting for a while now on Vinyl. I first discovered Marika's music from a YouTube video of one of her live performances. I was stunned. Her sound was unlike anything I've ever heard before. A combination of sincere, majestic and unique vocals mixed with a soft acoustic guitar. Although her melodies were light hearted, her lyrics were dark, sinister and even macabre. I loved it. I guess I've always had an interest in music that is not afraid to explore the darkness a little, and Marika Hackman's music does that perfectly. Overall, this is a Hauntingly Beautiful debut album from Indie-Folk artist Marika Hackman and I can't wait to review it for the Vinyl Eyezz Community!
